WINDS AUDITION: DUE THURSDAY, AUGUST 27TH - WE WILL LISTEN TO YOU PERFORM THE ETUDE IN YOUR BAND CLASS.
RHYTHM SECTION INCLUDES GUITAR, BASS, DRUMSET, AND PIANO
RHYTHM SECTION AUDITION: SIGN-UP FOR A MORNING TIME SLOT IN THE BAND ROOM - AUDITIONS WILL BE HELD ON SEPTEMBER 1st - 3rd.
Please prepare the following musical examples below.
All auditioning students will prepare Chorus 1 unless you want to be considered for a lead (solo) part. In which case, please prepare and perform Chorus 1 and Chorus 2.
Rhythm section (piano/guitar/bass/drumset) only needs to perform what is in the instructions.
Piano: All students auditioning for piano must prepare "Piano Audition Part 1" and "Piano Audition Part 2 (only Chorus 1)". If you wish to try out to be the lead piano player, please prepare "Piano Audition Part 2 (Chorus 1 and Chorus 2).
