2024 AHS Bands Audition Information
Hello 8th grade band parents and students,
As you begin the transition from middle school to high school, we wanted to send some information regarding the Alpharetta High School Band program. Please take a look at the newsletter, and the information documents provided.
Right now, the most important component is making sure that your child continues in band for the next school year. We have such amazingly talented 8th grade musicians, and every single one of the band students can have a home in our Alpharetta Band program. We know scheduling for high school can be tough and students may have questions regarding pathways and electives. If you have any questions as you navigate your way through the scheduling process, please do not hesitate to contact us. We are here to help!
Also, we have included some documents here regarding our program and our very popular marching band.
We will be hosting a band kick-off meeting on Thursday, March 21st at Alpharetta High School Auditorium at 6:30pm. At this meeting we will discuss the upcoming school year, and what to expect for the class band and for the marching band. We hope that you can join us for that meeting!
